Print design is the root of my career.

After I graduated from university, my very first graphic design job was at a UPS print shop. This particular shop partnered with the Florida State University and printed all of their official stationary and miscellaneous department print jobs. There, I learned firsthand how much of an impact correctly setting up designs for print has. This knowledge and experience from the physical printing side along with the design principles I learned in school helped to give me an extra edge with my early graphic design opportunities.

pos + ooh ads - dunkin’

At Hill Holliday, I worked on the Dunkin’ account (before they dropped the “Donuts” from their name) where we created point-of-purchase and out-of-home display signs for the Northeast and Spanish market stores. Working under the Dunkin’ brand was a great exercise in designing under strict international brand guidelines.

Trade show vertical banners - mendix

These vertical banners were created for display at Mendix’s booth in the Boston TechJam 2017. Boston TechJam is a tech fair hosted by the Mass Technology Leadership Council, where individuals can connect with others in the tech industry and meet representatives of different companies looking for talent. We decided to use imagery captured by employees from different settings, showing real faces and events featuring Mendix.

retail signs - life is good

These signs were created for display at Life is Good retail locations. At the time, the Life is Good brand leaned into a casual, almost homemade feel that used a lot of textural graphic elements. These retail signs played into that feeling, utilizing some scotch tape graphics, paper textures, and shadows to create a layered, scrapbook effect.
